Crystal Blankenship is a Chemical Engineer graduated from Texas Tech University. After graduation, she started working in the food industry, but recently transitioned to a Process Engineering role with Georgia Pacific. Crystal emphasized that SPC prepared her for a career as an engineer by not only teaching her the fundamentals for engineering and chemistry, but also by developing her skills in interdisciplinary collaboration, problem solving and critical thinking. The Science Department provided her with not only a great educational foundation, but a lifelong support system.
