Levelland Campus LVN to RN Transition Program

Advanced placement will be granted to qualifying students in accordance with their previous nursing education, nursing experience, and completion of RNSG 2307, 2260 and 1115. Credit for specific nursing courses will be granted to students on an individual basis and in accordance with the nursing curriculum by examinations and evaluation. The prerequisite non-nursing courses must be completed before registering in RNSG 2307, 2260 and 1115. The following curriculum meets the requirements for the Associate of Applied Science degree. The program and courses within the program are subject to approval and changes mandated by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board and the Board of Nursing. The LVN-RN Transition program is accredited by the following: the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing, 3343 Peachtree Road NE, Suite 850, Atlanta Georgia 30336, 404-975-5000.

The Program is approved by the Texas Board of Nursing and the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board.
